```Duties``` - Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a tractor-trailer or roll-off truck, to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe delivery of cargo - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition - Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed - Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines - Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise ```Requirements``` - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated (e.
g.
, Class A for tractor-trailers) - Proven experience as a truck driver, with a clean driving record - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance to address minor issues that may arise during transport - Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, tankers, or other specialized equipment if required for the specific job - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles if necessary - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries - Physical stamina and strength to load/unload cargo and perform other physical tasks as required Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
